Digital training taking the lead
Digital training is increasingly becoming employers' favoured
choice, according to training firm Video Arts.
According to research conducted by the firm, 58% of
organisations use digital video clips, either via online streaming
or DVDs, to train staff. Half of the respondents to the survey said
they offered e-learning and interactive self-study courses for
their employees.
Just over half - 54% - said they planned to provide more
in-house training, while 38% said they intended to increase the
amount of online video streaming used in training. Fifty-six
percent plan to introduce more e-learning and interactive
self-study courses, the research said.
