Common Purpose London Community Talent Bursary Scheme
Leading change, changing leaders: Bursary funding available for London’s Community Talent
Learning & Skills Council and the London Development Agency have joined forces with Common Purpose to create a bursary scheme that enables London’s Community Talent to participate in Common Purpose London programmes starting in May and June 2008.
Are you eligible to apply?
The scheme seeks to build the capacity of London’s Community Talent. The scheme is designed to give leaders the inspiration, the knowledge and they need to produce change. It is structured to encourage the following groups to join Common Purpose London programmes:
- leaders from the third sector
- leaders involved in running a small or medium sized business
Programmes
TheKNOW: 6 month modular programme for London’s senior leaders.
Starts May 2008. Full fee £4,225 + VAT
RealEdge: 4 month modular programme for London’s emerging leaders.
Starts June 2008. Full fee £3,500 + VAT
What is included?
The bursary fund is limited, and applicants are expected to make a financial contribution towards their fee. This will enable the fund to support as many leaders as possible.

“The problems that most need solving cross boundaries, and the way to solve them is to do the same. Leaders are most effective when they broaden their horizons and their networks. That real change doesn’t just happen, leaders need to make it happen.”
