Rudi Bogni is the senior independent director of Old Mutual plc, chairman of Medinvest Intl, a director of Kedge Capital, Alinghi Holdings, Prospect Publishing etc and a trustee of the Prince of Liechtenstein Foundation and of LGT.

He is also a member of the Governing Council of the CSFI (Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation), a trustee of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler and of Common Purpose International, a director of ICCF (International Council for Capital Formation) and a member of the Advisory Boards of Oxford Analytica, Advent Ventures, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and King's College Financial Mathematics as well as of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Financial Transformation.

He is a member of the Securities Institute, of the London Mathematical Society and of the Vereinigung Basler Oekonomen and writes regularly for Wilmott Magazine, occasionally for Il Sole 24 Ore and has written for years for The Times Higher Education Supplement.

He started his banking career in the early 70's with the Chase Manhattan Bank, was Group Treasurer of the Midland Bank and finally CEO, Private Banking of UBS.
